Ms. Vishalakshi Sathianathan is a UGC-NET qualified academic with over nine years of teaching experience. She completed her five-year law programme from ILS Law College, Pune in 2013 and her LL.M. in Criminal Law and Administration with distinction from Nagpur University in 2015. She has previously served as Visiting Faculty at Central India College, Nagpur and TMC Law College, Thane, Head of Department (Law) at KES Shri Jayantilal H. Patel Law College, Mumbai, and as Assistant Professor since 2018. She has chaired academic sessions and panel discussions on gender inclusivity and police science. Her ongoing Ph.D. research focuses on the status of mentally ill individuals within the criminal justice system.
