Course Overview:
7-Day, 14-Hour Intensive Course on Five Foundational Criminal Minor Laws
This structured live course offers an in-depth exploration of five critical criminal minor laws that play a pivotal role in the Indian criminal justice system but are often overlooked in mainstream legal study. Spanning 7 days and 14 hours, the sessions will be conducted by Justice K. Abraham Mathew (Retd.), former Judge of the High Court, known for his incisive legal reasoning and rich blend of judicial and academic experience.
These five legislations have far-reaching social impact and are essential for anyone engaging with criminal law, human rights, or gender justice in India. They reflect the evolution of criminal jurisprudence to address contemporary social realities such as child protection, juvenile justice, workplace harassment, domestic violence, and reformative justice.
Through this course, you'll gain a clear understanding of the legislative intent, procedural nuances, landmark judgments, and practical applications of these Acts in day-to-day legal practice. Whether you are a law student, judicial services aspirant, academician, or practicing advocate, this course will strengthen your grasp of these vital legal frameworks and their intersection with constitutional values.
